Welcome to the Marketing 12 online course. Most people would probably define marketing as selling or advertising. The far better definition would be that marketing is, “The creation and delivery of a standard of living”. In this online course we will examine the basic marketing concepts: research, practice and strategies of modern marketing in the world.
The required textbook for the Marketing 12 course is “Canadian Marketing in Action” (5th Edition).
Substantive Assignment = 5%
Assignments = 50%
Tests = 25%
Term project = 10%
Final exam = 50%

Students are expected to log onto the course and submit one assignment each week (or have contact with the instructor). Students who do not log onto the course, or keep in contact with their instructor on a weekly basis, will be viewed as having withdrawn from this online course. If you are active and withdraw from an online course, the Ministry of Education regulations will prohibit you from retaking this online course for two reporting periods.
